I believe that everybody can practice yoga and enjoy the many benefits it offers. A daily yoga routine can be transforming to your heart, mind and body; when practiced with awareness and intention. I invite you to join me in a yoga practice that most suits your needs, whether it be meditation and breathwork, gentle stretching, or invigorating sun salutations and inversions. My teaching style is heart centered, incorporating a focus on the breath as it connects to mindful movement and optimal alignment principles. The goal of our yoga practice is to embody a graceful flow in all of our actions, cultivating clarity, balance and mindfulness, whether we are on the mat or engaging in our everyday activities.
Please Contact Me if you are interested in discussing any of the yoga offerings, scheduling a private session or in creating a customized practice that suits your specific needs. Private sessions can include a combination of yoga offerings and/or herbal therapy consultations and are conducted in a private setting. Private or small group sessions cost $75 for 60 - 75 minutes or $150 for 3 sessions (plus cost of rental space or mileage).
Note: Please bring a mat, blocks, and any other props that will help facilitate a more optimal practice. Dress comfortably and arrive a few minutes early to get set up.
Looking for a more rigorous practice? This 6 week session will provide you with the opportunity to go a little deeper as we explore sun salutations, arm balances, and inversions. Students with an established daily practice looking to refine poses will work with Tina Hope and Laura Bush. This collaborative series will include a focus on deep dives into hips, forward folds, back bends, twists and an opportunity to explore different types of pranayama (breath work).Contact Tina Hope at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on yoga opportunities
This practice begins with gentle floor movements that focus on slowing down, creating space, and bringing awareness to the body's connective tissues. Restorative poses will be offered with enough time to more fully support the body, to facilitate a felt sense of ease and comfort, and to reduce fatigue. The sessions will conclude with pranayama (breath-work) and meditation.
This practice is accessible for all levels, including those who have never tried yoga.
